As part of the Rönesans Steel culture, we believe that the adoption and implementation of the Code of Ethical Conduct by all employees, and the careful, principled, and standard approach to our behavior, will directly impact the results of our work and elevate the satisfaction of our customers, suppliers, and business partners to higher levels.

Legal Compliance and Legal Proceedings
Purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, and accounting activities carried out within Rönesans Çelik are managed in a regular, complete, and standardized manner in accordance with the law and Rönesans Çelik policies and working principles, and are recorded and reported.
Social Responsibility
Rönesans Çelik develops projects with a social responsibility approach and establishes partnerships with relevant organizations in line with these ideals. Rönesans Çelik employees act in accordance with regulations and with sensitivity regarding the environment, public health, and the protection of natural life. Intellectual Property Rights
Renaissance Steel avoids unauthorized use of trade secrets, advertising campaigns, copyrights, patents, brand information, computer programs, and similar property rights belonging to its customers, suppliers, and competitors. It takes care not to use any work covered by copyright without the permission of the customer, supplier, or competitor and adopts this as a principle.
Information Management/Information Systems/Communication Tools
As stipulated by law, all legal records and reports are kept in a timely and meticulous manner within Rönesans Çelik. Rönesans Çelik employees, adhering to the Rönesans Çelik Code of Ethics, acknowledge that every report published in relation to work belongs to the company and meticulously report, record, and archive their work in accordance with Rönesans Çelik procedures. For this reason, unauthorized software is not installed on company computers, used, or copied, in order to protect both personal and company rights.
Asset Management
All equipment, tools, and materials allocated to employees by Renaissance Steel are protected in accordance with company assets and used in the most efficient manner.
Security and Crisis Management
Renaissance Steel takes the necessary measures to protect the safety of its employees and safeguard its factories and administrative facilities against potential natural disasters, terrorism, and malicious acts. In such situations, Renaissance Steel provides rapid, solution-oriented crisis management to minimize potential losses during crises and ensure business continuity.
Privacy
Rönesans Çelik fulfills its responsibilities in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698. Therefore, it is aware of its obligation not to share confidential information and data related to employees, customers, suppliers, and business partners with anyone except where required by law.
Trade Controls
In accordance with laws and company principles, necessary commercial arrangements are made within Rönesans Çelik. Export and import controls are implemented for the shipment and use of relevant products and technologies, and these arrangements comply with laws and company principles.
Anti-Money Laundering
All financial transactions at Rönesans Steel are conducted in accordance with laws and regulations. Any form of illegal trade, activities involving money as an element of crime, and activities aimed at legitimizing money are avoided.
Avoiding Conflicts of Interest
The name, property, knowledge base, and employee’s role and position within the company of Rönesans Steel may not be used for personal gain.
Not Conducting Transactions for One's Own Benefit or That of One's Close Associates
Rönesans Çelik employees may not use their duties and positions to obtain unjust benefits for themselves, their relatives, or any third party.
Giving and Receiving Gifts
Rönesans Steel employees establish professional relationships with their customers and business partners within the framework of the Code of Ethics. For this reason, they avoid any transactions that may arise in pursuit of personal interests.
Zero Tolerance for Bribery
Bribery refers to money, goods, or similar items given secretly to an official or officials to provide illegal assistance in getting a job done. Rönesans Çelik does not tolerate bribery. Such behavior has serious consequences for Rönesans Çelik and the individuals involved and carries legal and criminal liability.
Employee Responsibilities
The Rönesans Steel Code of Conduct contains detailed information on how we should conduct our business. It is the mandatory responsibility of all employees to ensure these rules are followed. Accordingly, all Rönesans Steel employees must:
– Acting in compliance with laws and regulations under all circumstances,
– Reading the Renaissance Code of Ethics, knowing, understanding, internalizing, and acting in accordance with the rules, principles, and values contained therein,
– Learning the general and specific policies and procedures applicable to the company and its operations,
– Consulting with management regarding potential violations involving oneself or others,
– Promptly reporting one’s own or others’ possible violations; communicating such reports to management in writing, either anonymously or by name,
– Cooperating with management in ethical investigations and maintaining confidentiality regarding investigation-related information.
Responsibilities of Managers
Rönesans Steel managers have additional responsibilities beyond those defined for employees under the Renaissance Steel Code of Conduct. Accordingly, managers:
– They are responsible for communicating the ethical conduct rules to employees,
– Setting an example and guiding employees in the application of ethical rules through their own conduct,
– Encouraging employees to communicate any questions, complaints, or reports related to ethical rules,
– Providing guidance on what to do when consulted, taking all reports into consideration, and forwarding them to the relevant parties as soon as possible when deemed necessary.
Responsibilities of the Human Resources Department
Responsible for providing training to inform employees about ethical rules and ensuring communication with employees on this subject.
Resolving Non-Compliance with Ethical Rules
Rönesans Çelik can only take the necessary action to resolve the issue if misconduct is reported.
Rönesans Çelik employees can report any violations or suspected violations of laws, regulations, or ethical rules applicable to the company to Rönesans Çelik managers in writing via company email addresses.
